<p>You could be a working woman, or a student, but city life is always going to take a toll on your health. However, there are many simple methods to remain healthy, fit and energetic even at the end of the day. Here are top 10 tips that can work wonders for the city women who do not want to be bogged down by the pressures of daily life, but want to go for it at full throttle. </p>
<p>1. Exercising</p>
<p>Today&#8217;s cities are good at giving you an inactive life. You can move from one place to another in your vehicle or use public transport without much physical activity. Or, you could be spending all your day engaged in office chores sitting at one place. This means that you could be leading a lethargic life, making you wear-out after a few years. With such a lifestyle, it is very important that you exercise for at least an hour a day, minimum of 5 times a week. Proper workout will help you keep in proper shape and it will also have a positive impact on your mood. </p>
<p>2. Health Check-Ups</p>
<p>Most of the city women who do not have any problem do not consider it important to visit the doctor. However, it is important that you visit your doctor annually, who can check you Pap smear, do a mammogram and check on bone density to ensure you have not developed any complications. </p>
<p>3. Give Yourself Time</p>
<p>You may be having a busy life, involving your office and your family. But, in order to ensure good health, you need to give time to yourself by engaging in some interesting activities like cooking, painting or meditating. </p>
<p>4. Proper Water Intake</p>
<p>In your busy city life, you would most often forget to drink water. You can keep yourself hydrated by carrying a bottle of water along with you. Make sure that you drink at least 2 liters of water on a daily basis.</p>
<p>5. Sleep</p>
<p>The quality of your sleep determines the productiveness of your day. It is essential that you get all the sleep necessary to keep you functioning properly.</p>
<p>6. Healthy Food</p>
<p>Stay away from fast food and food high in oil. Make sure that you take your meals regularly without skipping them. Your food should he healthy and rich in nutrients and not in fats. A good supply of fresh fruits and nuts can help you keep fresh and going. </p>
<p>7. Sexual Health</p>
<p>You could be dating intermittently or in a long-term relationship, but it is necessary that you ensure your own safety. Protect yourself from sexually transmitted diseases by using contraceptives. </p>
<p>8. Skin</p>
<p>City life brings with it the factors like dust and heat that can have a strong bearing on your skin. Find out the skincare products suitable to your skin and use them under the right guidance.</p>
<p>9. Remain Happy</p>
<p>In addition to good physical health, good and positive mental attitude can do wonders to your health. This can be achieved by doing something that keeps you happy. </p>
<p>10. Plan</p>
<p>As a city woman you could come across many things to be done during your day, leading to stress. Plan your days in advance and stay away from stress, which is one of the leading reasons for diseases.</p>

<p>Yoga &#8211; Headstand Intermediate &#8211; part of the women&#8217;s fitness video series by GeoBeats. Today I am going to show you an intermediate variation of the headstand. Headstand benefits the entire body. It is considered a complete pose. It is a pose that prepares the mind for meditation, and also meditation can be done while in this posture. So, let&#8217;s start toward the center of the mat, elbows no wider than the shoulders are. Make the hands into a hard helmet to support the back of the head. Then place the crown of the head on the floor or a little bit toward the center, but never roll onto the back of the head. Tuck the toes under, lift the seat. Walk the feet closer and closer to the body until they feel very light. Then you will be able to lift them straight up toward the ceiling. When you arrive at the top, almost feel that you are falling back a little bit and you will be exactly on the top of the head. Close the eyes and concentrate on the space between the eyebrows. To come out, lower the legs slowly down toward the mat. Then rest in child&#8217;s pose for a few breaths, allowing the blood pressure to normalize. Then come out.
